Legal, Privacy & Advertising Disclosures

This page explains what EstateFig is, what it is not, and how we handle your data and commercial relationships. Last updated 2026-08-09.

Not legal or tax advice

EstateFig provides informal planning estimates generated from federal and state tax statutes and published rates. It is not legal advice, tax advice, or a substitute for the guidance of a licensed attorney or CPA. Tax outcomes are determined by your actual facts and filings and by the interpretation of the IRS and state tax authorities. Laws and exemption amounts change. Always confirm the current rule with the IRS, your state Department of Revenue, or a licensed professional before relying on any number.

No attorney–client or fiduciary relationship

Using EstateFig does not create an attorney–client, accountant–client, or fiduciary relationship. Nothing on this site should be construed as a solicitation or offer of professional services.

Accuracy and sources

Figures are sourced to federal statute (IRC § 2010, OBBBA 2025), IRS forms and publications, and state Departments of Revenue, with a source year shown per jurisdiction. Where a state's full bracket table is not yet loaded, results are flagged as model estimates. We update figures at least annually and on statutory changes, but we make no warranty as to completeness or currentness.

Advertising & affiliate disclosures

EstateFig is free and is supported by third-party advertising (including Google AdSense) and, in some places, affiliate links to planning software, trustee services, or professional directories. These relationships may earn a commission if you click through and purchase — at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not influence the calculators, the exemption amounts shown, or the order in which states are ranked. We disclose this here and in the site footer in accordance with the FTC's endorsement guidelines.

Privacy

EstateFig is a static website. The calculators run entirely in your browser; the values you enter are not transmitted to or stored by us. We and our advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, consistent with your browser and platform settings. You can disable ad personalization through your Google Ads settings or your device's privacy controls.
